Pasta

Favorite organic pasta or marinara sauce

Gimme Lean – beef flavored (comes in a roll in most all supermarkets in the vegetarian section)

Rosemary sprigs (for decoration only)

 

Bread:

Vegan bread

Garlic powder

Margarine (Natures Balance)

 

Salad:

Organic greens.

Avocado

Bell peppers

Pine nuts

Vinaigrette

 

Prepare pasta, drain and put aside.

In large skillet, add super canola oil (for heat) or Nature’s Balance margarine. Cut open and dispense the entire roll of Gimme Lean faux meat into skillet. Using proper utensil, so as not to cut up pan, start breaking apart the Gimme Lean. Keep chopping at it until it resembles meat crumbles. Stir and cook according to directions on package. When finished cooking add the chosen red sauce to skillet and combine ingredients. Turn heat down and simmer for a few minutes.

 

Bread. I prepare with margarine and sprinkle on garlic powder, seasonings. Wrap in foil and place in a warm oven, until dinner is ready.

 

Prepare salad ingredients.

 

Combine pasta noodles with the faux Bolognese sauce or simply pour sauce over noodles. You can use a vegan Parmesan but I like it just as is.

 

Serve dinner by candlelight and enjoy!
