Everyone knows my unwavering dedication to rescuing and saving thousands of dogs and a few kitty cats since 1997, as well as my work through the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation’s Wellness Center for Rescue and Adoptions.
With great sadness on Wednesday I said goodbye to Johnny, the last of my personal dogs. Johnny was my heart and soul, and through hard work and holistic care, he blessed me with an extra two years despite battling liver and kidney disease, as well as cancer.
Working closely with my veterinarian, we used “Pet Well-Being” products and other natural cancer support treatments, which gave Johnny a long, beautiful life. He passed away at the incredible age of 14. My heart is heavy, but I take comfort in knowing that Johnny touched the lives of so many—friends, family, and the countless dogs he helped welcome and integrate into our rescue. He showed them love and safety while they waited for their forever homes.
Even in his passing, Johnny’s journey continues to inspire. His success with herbal and holistic support for liver and kidney disease, along with my research and work in cancer support for dogs, will go on to help so many others in need.
I hope you’ll join me in honoring Johnny’s memory by supporting homeless pets in need this Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Your kindness, support, and donations mean the world to us and will help keep this life-saving mission alive.
