We are extremely saddened to learn that one of LBWF’s Ambassadors has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. When he was originally in our care, we called him Tony. You will see him all over our website. On the ‘Main Page banner’ and on our “About Us” page. He was truly one of a kind, and one of the most gentle, loving and special dogs one could ever hope to meet.

Tony was adopted by the wonderful Uno family in 2006. We just received a donation from them in (now named) Bob’s memory. Their message to us was “We had to let our gentle soul & sweet pitbull Bob, who went by Tony when he lived at LBWF & who adorns LBWF’s home page lying with his nose to Linda, go to heaven yesterday. We will miss his constant companionship and love.”

We are so happy Bob found the perfect, forever home. We will always love and appreciate all he gave back to us in return.
