We here at LBWF wish you and yours a very peaceful Easter weekend. We know first hand that it has not been an easy year for anyone, LBWF included. With the rise in home foreclosures, job loss, furloughs, etc we have seen a dramatic rise in the number of pets searching for their new forever homes. Because of this, we have opened our hearts and doors to many more dogs this year then we had expected. This pups have come from every situation imaginable – from home foreclosures, stranded in the desert, tied to the shelter door, or left to fend for themselves in the streets of South LA – they needed our help and so now we need yours.

Please consider making a very much needed donation in celebration of Easter. We can assure you the pups will be greatly appreciative of any amount you could spare. Can’t make a donation at this time, consider volunteering or checking out other ways to help on our Help Out section of the website.

And if you have time, stop by Rusty’s Pet Discount Center this Sunday, April 4th for a fun filled day complete with an Easter Egg Hunt, Photo Ops, Games, and of course meet the many wonderful dogs we have for adoption! The event is from 12-4 and is located at 11672 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA.
