Dear Friends of LBWF,

We can’t thank you enough for the overwhelming support we received this past weekend at our golf tournament fundraiser. The turn out was amazing and we are so grateful for everyone who made the trip for a fun-filled day and evening. A HUGE thank you from the very bottoms of our hearts to Mickey and Priscilla for all their hard work and making this event a success! There just aren’t words enough to express our gratitude.

I know we’ve talked a lot about the economy and how tough things have been on rescue and we’d like you to know that your generosity is already being put to work. This week we have taken in 4 amazing dogs from a rescuer who had fallen ill and was losing everything. Because of your kindness we were able to step up and help out. Below you will see a few pictures of the new furry friends we were able to help. Your support has allowed us to continue what we do best – help dogs in need.

These dogs, and the others that came in, will likely need medical care and rehabilitation. We want to be able to provide the best care possible and with your help we’ll be able to do so.

So as we approach this Independence Day weekend know that you have our deepest gratitude and 4 more lives were saved because of your kindness.
